Life in the waiting Room





You’ve heard it said that when God closes a door, He will open a window. Waiting for God to answer a prayer or act on our behalf is even harder.

"But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31.

Our minds begin to ask questions. Is the Lord even listening? Have I done something wrong ? so He is giving me the silent treatment? Am I praying according to his will?
The truth is, we don't have patience, if patience is a virtue, most of us are not very virtuous. It’s flat out hard to wait. When life or people don’t measure up to our expectations, being patient can be quite a challenge.

But clearly, God wants us to develop this character trait. He may be preparing us something great that we cant imagine its possible. He is definitely teaching us patience, insight and encouragement as you sit and wait on His perfect timing.
It reflects His very presence in our lives, for He is a patient God. We’ve been trying to focus on our own agendas and timelines and not trusting that God may have a whole different plan for us and what in store for us in the future. 

There are opportunities to be used of Him in unexpected ways. Or, it just may be that God wants to give us the opportunity to show what His patience is like by demonstrating it to others. But one thing we can be sure of God’s time is always the right time.

After all, patience is more than a virtue, it’s a fruit of the Spirit. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)

Patience is not learning to wait for others; it’s learning to wait on God's plan and cooperate with His work in our lives. Trust that He is at work in you and in the situation.

So what need to learn here?

BREAKING NEWS: Pres. Duterte wants to see PHL ranking in ease of doing business improve in 2018!

The latest “Doing Business 2018: Reforming to Create Jobs” of the World Bank released Tuesday night (PH time) showed that the Philippines’ distance to frontier (DTF) slightly improved to 58.74 from 58.32 in the Doing Business 2017 report. The Philippines landed in 113th place out of 190 economies this year from 99th place last year. The Philippines now ranks 108th out of 189 economies in the latest Ease of Doing Business report released by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Acting presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said at his first briefing in Malacañang that President Rodrigo Duterte himself would want to see improvements in the Philippine standing in terms of ease of doing business. “I am sure the President in November of next year would want to see a substantial improvement regardless of whatever reasons the Department may have to justify ... the standing of the Philippines,” he said.
