Life in the waiting Room
You’ve heard it said that when God closes a door, He will open a window. Waiting for God to answer a prayer or act on our behalf is even harder. "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31. Our minds begin to ask questions. Is the Lord even listening? Have I done something wrong ? so He is giving me the silent treatment? Am I praying according to his will? The truth is, we don't have patience, if patience is a virtue, most of us are not very virtuous. It’s flat out hard to wait. When life or people don’t measure up to our expectations, being patient can be quite a challenge. But clearly, God wants us to develop this character trait. He may be preparing us something great that we cant imagine its possible. He is definitely teaching us patience, insight and encouragement as you sit and wait on His perfect timing. It reflec...
