What does God say about Dating?



The word “dating” is not found in the scripture but somehow God is speaking to us about this through his words we just need to recognize his voice. He is the great shepherd and his sheep should hear when he’s speaking. Jesus said that His true relations are those who know and do the Father’s will. He has a lot to say about dating and relationship, we just need to trust him and follow his will for you.

First is that we must separate from the world's view on dating because God's way contradicts the world's and It is true because of the world’s system. While the world’s view may be to date around as much as we want and pick the one we think the right one for us but this is misleading most of the time. the most important thing is to consider the person’s character before making any commitment to him or her.

We should look for the person who has been born again in the Spirit of Christ (John 3:3-8) Jesus answered him, “ truly, truly, I say to you, unless one born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. and if the person shares the same desire toward Christ-likeness (Philippians 2:5) In your relationship with one another have the same mindset as Jesus Christ. These are the most important things we need to consider.

The ultimate goal of dating or courting is finding a life partner. A partner that would draw you closer to God and let him be the center of the relationship. It is worth to find someone who shares the same core values and beliefs. This is God’s will for us, he desires a better life and has a dream for us that is more than that we could imagine.

The point is, we need to remind ourselves that we are his children and our father has a plan and purpose for us. We just need to trust him and offer our life and surrender everything. There is nothing more fulfilling and satisfying feeling when we are in Christ.

The latest “Doing Business 2018: Reforming to Create Jobs” of the World Bank released Tuesday night (PH time) showed that the Philippines’ distance to frontier (DTF) slightly improved to 58.74 from 58.32 in the Doing Business 2017 report. The Philippines landed in 113th place out of 190 economies this year from 99th place last year. The Philippines now ranks 108th out of 189 economies in the latest Ease of Doing Business report released by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Acting presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said at his first briefing in Malacañang that President Rodrigo Duterte himself would want to see improvements in the Philippine standing in terms of ease of doing business. “I am sure the President in November of next year would want to see a substantial improvement regardless of whatever reasons the Department may have to justify ... the standing of the Philippines,” he said.
